Anyways, I decided to whip up a very quick and easy lunch. It literally takes less than 30 minutes to prepare, finish cooking and washing! So try the following things out (the ingredients are below the pictures at the end of this post):
Light salad with a citrus dressing |
Portobello linguine |
- Baby spinach
- Wild rocket
- Cucumber
- Juice and zest of navel orange
- Olive oil
Portobello linguine:
- Linguine
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Butter
- Portobello mushrooms
- Flat-leaf parsley
- Garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
This is just such an easy meal to whip out especially on a Sunday afternoon. All that's missing is a glass of white wine and you're all set!
Bon appétit
By "company" I'm assuming you're referring to us at Marden!! My day took forever though...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the linguine recipe..is that the Jamie Oliver one that you were talking about a while ago? Can you send me the recipe?

Oui, Marden it was. No, that was the one from the same book I got the baked cheesecake from...something about homely cooking. I tweaked it quite a little though I think. I'll send you the recipes :)
ReplyDeleteIf you want the Jamie Oliver ones, I can send them to you as well. There's 2 linguine recipes I talked about.... (or 3?) one of them was the mushroom linguine with I think 3-4 different types of mushrooms and 2 types of cheeses (parmesan and mozarella), the other one was the prawn linguine with fresh basil.
Oui Oui! Can you send those linguine recipes too? Merci x

Oui! Both sent. It was the prawn linguine and pappardelle with mushrooms.
